The 1st working meeting of the standards working group for BRICS Organization Standards of Robotic Process Automation competitions, skills and curriculum

On July 4th,2024, the 1st working meeting of the standards working group for BRICS Organization Standards of Robotic Process Automation competitions, skills and curriculum were held successfully. 110 members from the standard drafting working group, experts from BRICS Standardization Working Committee for Skills and Technical (hereinafter referred to as BSWC), industry representatives and teachers from vocational colleges across the country attended the meeting, including about 30 international experts from South Africa, India, Ghana and Philippines.
Dr.Liu Zhenying, Chairperson of China Section of BRICS Business Council Skills Development, Applied Technology and Innovation Working Group, President of the International Alliance of Skills Development, Chairman of BSWC, Ms.Mapule Ncanywa, Chairperson of South Africa Section of BRICS Business Council Skills Development, Applied Technology and Innovation Working Group, Ms.Zhao Shan, secretary-general of Digital Intelligence Union Working Committee for Finance and Economics of International Alliance of Skills Development, attended the meeting and made a speech.
Dr.Liu Zhenying introduced the background and work progress of the BRICS standard work, the construction and development of BSWC, affirmed the importance of BRICS organization standards of the Robot Process Automation competition, skills and courses, and pointed out that hope all relevant units to actively participate in BRICS organization standards, deepen international cooperation, power high level education opening to the outside world.
Associate Professor Jacob Jacobus Greeff, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science and Information System and Member of BSWC, Northwestern University, South Africa, Jacqui Miller, Northwestern University, South Africa, Mr.Neil van Wyngaard, Chief Expert of the RPA events in the Main Division of South Africa in the 2023 BRICS Skills Competition (BRICS Future Skills Challenge), Professor Swaran Singh, School of International Relations, Nehru University, India, Mr.Mamudu Hamidu, Kumasi Technical University of Ghana and former Technical Representative of the Republic of Ghana to the World Skills Organization, Philippine entrepreneur BONG H. ANTIVOLA, Ms.Wan Kai, President of Accounting College of Jiangxi Vocational College of Finance and Economics, Mr.Gao Chunyuan, Vice President of Intelligent Accounting College of Yunnan Vocational College of Finance and Economics, and other experts and scholars introduced and discussed the application and development prospect of robot process automation technology at home and abroad.
Associate Professor Jacob Jacobus Greeff, Deputy Dean of the School of Computer Science and Information Systems, Northwestern University in South Africa and member of BSWC, shared the key points and implementation measures that need to be improved in the process of skills development, and summarized the methods to comprehensively formulate standards to ensure that the work can be sustained and effectively.
Experts from Financial Intelligence Future (Beijing) Education Technology Co., LTD., Ms.Jacqui Miller,the lecturer from South Africa, Neil van Wyngaard, the chief expert from South Africa, Mr.Mamudu Hamidu, the lecturer from Ghana, Professor Swaran Singh from India and entrepreneur BONG H. ANTIVOLA from the Philippines, etc., respectively shared the application and development prospects of Robot Process Automation technology in various countries.
Jiangxi vocational college of finance and economics, Yunnan vocational college of finance and economics, both of them are editor-in-chief units of the standards working group for the BRICS Organization Standards of Robotic Process Automation competitions, skills and curriculum,Ms.Wan Kai (President of Accounting College of Jiangxi Vocational College of Finance and Economics) and Mr.Gao Chunyuan (Vice President of Intelligent Accounting College of Yunnan Vocational College of Finance and Economics) as the main drafters had a speech about the purpose of the standard work, significance and specific arrangement, etc.
The expert form The Intelligence of Future (Beijing) Education & Technology Co., Ltd., as the project team leader unit of BRICS Organization Standards of Robotic Process Automation competitions, skills and curriculum, representative of the standard each stage (drafting stage, consultation, review stage, approval stage, etc.) has carried on the brief description and the introduction of each stage work, the standard work for time plan inversion, and said it will actively promote the standard work and the completion of the work.
The formal establishment of the standards working group for BRICS Organization Standards of Robotic Process Automation competitions, skills and curriculum, will further promote the new development of BRICS Organization Standards.
