On July 21, 2022, the launch meeting of the "Machine Learning and Big Data" project for the development of BRICS future skills courses and the formulation of international group standards was held online. He said that in recent years, the Skills Development Working Group of the BRICS Business Council has carried out a series of skills development with the goal of "skills development and talent cultivation". , training, competitions, exchanges and the construction of the BRICS future skills training base have achieved remarkable results. As cooperation in the skills field continues to deepen, the BRICS Skills Group has a deep understanding of the importance of standard formulation and curriculum development, and will establish a BRICS Skills Standards Development Working Committee to formulate vocational skills standards and issue skills certificates as an important outcome design Written into the Beijing Declaration. In terms of preparations for the development of skills standards, the Chinese skills group, the Brazilian skills group and the South African skills group held 5 docking meetings in 2021 and reached cooperation intentions on group standard formulation and curriculum development around 7 projects such as machine learning and big data. A memorandum of understanding was signed and an action plan recognized by the three parties was formulated. The Russian technical team will join the plan in April 2022. In 2022, the BRICS Skills Group will establish a BRICS Skills Standards Development Working Committee and call on the BRICS Skills Development Alliance and BRICS stakeholders to jointly develop BRICS group standards around multiple skills, mainly machine learning and big data.
