 Dr. Liu Zhenying said that by integrating the resources of the five BRICS countries in education, training, human resources, technology and products, we can jointly promote the standardization of technical skills in emerging economies and developing countries, and increase the number of emerging economies. and the right to speak in developing countries, helping Chinese enterprises and vocational schools go global and truly build an international Chinese brand and Xiamen brand.
Deputy Director Li Ming said that the establishment of the Xiamen Financial Standards Committee has established a working mechanism and a working platform for Xiamen to carry out mutual recognition of skills standards among BRICS countries. It is hoped that all parties will continue to support, especially to strengthen internal communication and coordination, contribute superior resources of all parties, form a synergy of work, explore mutual recognition of standards among BRICS countries, prioritize breakthroughs in the fields of skills, quality, and technical standard promotion and application, and promote our city's participation The international standards formulated are the first to be promoted in BRICS countries.
Director Zhang Yuping said that in 2022, the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government issued implementation opinions on the implementation of the "National Standardization Development Outline" and proposed "exploring the development of standards in the fields of BRICS digital economy applications and business flow, logistics, capital flow, information flow and other fields" Research and development" and other task requirements. In order to implement the decisions and arrangements of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, and to use standardization to support the construction of the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Innovation Base, the Xiamen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation approved the establishment of the Xiamen BRICS Technology and Skills Standardization Technical Committee, which serves as the unit responsible for the secretariat. The BRIC Future Research Institute will build the platform of the BRIC Technology and Skills Standardization Technical Committee based on the existing good work.
Three international experts on the BRICS Skills Standardization Working Committee: Valério Junior Piana, expert of the National Industrial Training Service of Brazil, leader of the skills development working group of the BRICS Business Council (Russia), deputy director general and director of international affairs of the Russian Skills Development Agency Alina Doskanova and South African expert Professor Jannie J. Zaaiman attended the meeting online and delivered a speech.
